DGM Procurement
Involves collaborating with various stakeholders, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely procurement of construction materials and services, and maintaining effective supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Procurement Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to understand procurement needs for real estate development projects.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project timelines and specifications.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of materials.
Contract Negotiations:
- Lead negotiations for contracts with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Ensure that contracts include favorable terms, quality standards, and adherence to project budgets.
Cost Control and Budget Adherence:
- Implement cost-effective procurement practices to achieve savings while maintaining quality.
- Monitor and control procurement budgets, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, zoning requirements, and environmental standards.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact procurement processes in the real estate sector.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, such as supply chain disruptions or cost fluctuations.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges in the procurement process.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including construction, finance, and legal departments.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address procurement-related issues and ensure project success.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement industry best practices and leverage technology to streamline procurement operations.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech (Civil/Mechanical).
- Must have a real estate or construction/contracting firm experience
