Responsibility:  - Planning, organizing, controlling and monitoring the overall production activities as per the budget in the respect of shop floor  - Responsible for cost, Quality and timely delivery of products  - Responsible for ensuring daily and monthly production as per plan.  - Responsible for achieving yield as per targets  - Ensure conformance to specification for in process and final process.  - Plans and initiate the appropriate corrective and preventive action for non conforming products / Process.  - Ensures the optimum usage of resources and smooth flow at shop floor.  - Initiate the changes in process, plant and machineries for improving quality and productivity.   - Ensure the implementation of Integrated Management system.  - 100% Compliance of budgeted production with budgeted manpower  - Responsible for new product production   - Responsible for corrective action for process deviations  - Responsible for Cost Control initiatives   - Review of CEP's on monthly basis  - Responsible for new materials trails   - Review the Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety management system internally and takes the corrective and preventive action through the head of the departments reporting to him.  - Responsible for effective implementation of approved Capital Expenditure   - Identifying the training needs of the department heads, who reporting to him  - Defect Trend Analysis and Monitoring for the continual improvements  - Ensures high standard of housekeeping in his area of operation  Skill:  Planning skills, Leadership skills, Interpersonal Skills, Co-ordination Skills, Communication Skills and Executing skills, Man management, exposed to work in a unionized working environment.  Qualification: Diploma in ceramic Engineering / Chemical (Must)
