Position: DGM HPC & PERSONAL CARE  Reporting:   Functional Reporting: VP Private labels   Administrational Reporting: VP Private Labels  Location: HO-Thane   Age: Upto 40   Education: M.Sc. Organic Chemistry from premier university or B.E / B.Tech. Chemical Engineering  Competencies:   - Thorough Knowledge in formulations with respect to home-care, fabric care, soaps & detergents,  - Thorough knowledge of manufacturing equipment & processes, packaging material & finished goods compatibilities  - Thorough knowledge with respect to raw material specifications & their differences with respect to product to be used in to.  - Good knowledge of quality management systems & processes.  - Thorough knowledge of raw material suppliers & contract manufacturers.  - Strong ability to read label declarations on National brands & convert them to matching formulations / Products.  - Understanding of product categories & trends.  - Ability to do product costing.  Total Experience:   At least 15 years experience in product development in a FMCG company, Experience of having worked in the Private labels function in modern retail or multi level marketing company will be an added advantage  Key Responsibilities:  - Category analysis & Product development,  - Ownership with respect to product quality,  - To deliver products within the companies cost & margin framework,  Linkages/Interface: Core category team & Operations  Package : Rs. 15 - 18 Lakhs per annum
