Customs : - Liaising with Customs, ICEGATE, DG SYSTEMS, PNB, MPLS vendors, etc. at terminal as well as higher levels for day to day ICD related issues ensuring smooth operations. - Arranging Bond registrations - Custodian / Carrier Bonds, Licenses, Permissions under Cargo Handling Regulations, renewals of Bonds and permissions, Landing Certificates, EDI permissions, Domestic Cargo handling permissions, Infrastructural developments, etc. - Handling official communication with Customs &amp; other related bodies. Managing administrative requirements of Customs officials. - Attending to various audits of Customs, DRI, SIIB, ISO &amp; other related bodies. Handling confiscations, seizures, disposal / E-auction of long-standing export and import cargo. - Handling cases of short shipments, excess cargo, back to town, high sea sales, Bonding, debonding, warehousing (EXIM &amp; domestic), etc. - Attending meetings/investigations with Customs/DRI/CBI /CSTAT and other law enforcement bodies. - Managing and guiding other departments to follows various rules and practices laid down by CBEC vide the Customs Act 1962 and Cargo Handling Regulations and Trade practices. - Single point contact for Customers / CHAs for any issues in completion of Customs related activities. EXIM : - Coordination with Shipping Lines, important importers/exporters and acting as KAM for prominent customers and resolving their clearance related issues to ensure timely handover. - Arranging timely completion of activities and documentation of EXIM transactions as per rules and regulations of Customs and trade practices. - Helping maintaining of process flow and documentation for EXIM activities in the e-Logisol system. Operations : - Coordination with various departments for completion of activities like weighment, shifting, grounding, repairing, etc. - Liaising with transport wing for timely placement of vehicles for stuffing and destuffing. - Coordination with third party vendors, ICD surveyors, shipping line surveyors, etc., for timely completion of activities including handover of urgent, timebound and reefer cargo.
