Position Summary: The DGM, Mergers & Acquisitions, will be responsible for strategic identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities. This pivotal role will influence the future growth and competitive positioning of the company. The successful candidate will be an experienced M&A professional with a deep understanding of deal dynamics, impeccable analytical skills, and a keen eye for value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to align M&A strategies with corporate objectives.

2. Deal Identification & Analysis: Lead the identification and screening of potential M&A opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.

3. Due Diligence: Oversee comprehensive due diligence processes, assessing potential risks and rewards, and ensuring all potential issues are addressed.

4. Deal Negotiation & Closing: Direct the negotiation of terms, structures, and pricing, ensuring the best value for the company.

5. Integration Oversight: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth integration post-acquisition, and achievement of synergy targets.

6. Relationship Management: Foster relationships with potential targets, investment banks, advisors, and industry peers.

7. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of M&A professionals, promoting professional growth and excellence.

8. Market Intelligence: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform M&A strategies.

Qualifications:

1. An MBA from a premier institute.

2. 7-10 years of corporate experience in end-to-end M&A deals/transactions.

3. Comprehensive experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and post-acquisition integration.

4. Strong financial acumen with impeccable analytical and modeling skills.

5. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

6. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

7. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

8. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

9. Willingness to travel as needed.
