ROLE PURPOSE

- To manage and drive the revenues of the Business Services division in order to attain and strengthen market leadership in the mobile and fixed line business space in India, through growth, in terms of revenues, market share and profit, whilst complying with agreed budget , timescales and agreed policy guidelines as also with all regulatory norms

ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key Accountabilities

1. Impact on the Business

- The role holder is responsible for the revenue of the business services division for the circle. The incumbent will be responsible to develop and plan sales & marketing strategies, including pricing strategies, to enhance the competitive position. The primary focus will be to increase the Revenue market share through acquisition and product penetration in new accounts, as well as, a deeper penetration in existing accounts with special focus on mobile data, international roaming and fixed line services.(S)He would additionally focus on customer engagement strategies to drive loyalty and retention.

2. Customers Suppliers and Third Parties

- The role holder has to constantly feel the pulse of each of the markets and be aware of market realities by being in constant touch with key customers groups. The incumbent would steer revenues to greater heights through the Circles and ensure revenue market shares are as per defined limits.

3. Leadership and Teamwork

- The position is a senior leadership position in the organization and the incumbent would be responsible for all marketing operations in the Circle. The role holder would set goals and targets for the Sales Heads, in consultation with the Enterprise Business Head, and will monitor the performance of the team on a regular basis. The incumbent would need to establish and maintain relationships with peers in the circle from Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Consumer Marketing, Enterprise Solutions, Technical & IT, as well as, regional and corporate members from the group.

4. Innovation and Change

- The incumbent would need to innovate and bring appropriate changes depending on market realities and demands. He/She would be required to analyze and provide solutions to the team on various matters pertaining to revenue from operation and customer engagement in the Circle. Launch strategy and market segmentation for new products.

5. Knowledge and Experience

- The role requires in-depth knowledge of Corporate Sales & marketing preferably in a telecom/IT/ITeS/office automation organization. He should have experience of negotiating with large customers for and managing long term service contracts.

6. Communication

- The role holder is responsible for all customer communication in the circle for the enterprise group. Internally, (s)he would be responsible for designing and implementing thematic campaigns to drive business imperatives. (S)he would also communicate targets, strategy and plans to the circle.
