DGM IT Procurement

Develop and manage the central IT procurement function for the organisation.

This would involve the following responsibilities:

- Setting targets and monitoring performance for the department

- Ensure meeting of timelines (Turn Around Time) assigned to each step of procurement for successful completion

- Prepare and generate MIS reports such as:

1. Monthly report of PO details (Process wise, Equipment wise, Payment Term wise)

2. Purchase Order Released (PO summary)

3. Capex documents

4. Payments received and pending

5. Review and Release central procurement SOP in alignment with corporate as well as regional requirements.

6. Deliver based on procurement strategy target benefits and financial savings

7. Evaluate and make recommendations for purchasing policies and procedures for implementation of standards that represent best purchasing methods.

Vendor Management

- Approve vendors to be empanelled

- Handle, control and manage vendors to achieve successful procurement cycle completion

- Liaison with external vendors for receiving quotations and other details such as delivery schedules & payment terms

- Prepare Comparison sheet and negotiate on terms with Vendors

- Ensure regular follow-up with vendors for on time deliveries

Compliance Management

- Ensure centralized and decentralized Approval Notes are prepared with proper documentation by periodic audits.

- Ensure departments participation in procurement audits and making sure that the audits are cleared successfully.
