JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead 1-2 innovation verticals to provide world class experience (Overall weightage: 40%)

- Lead 1-2 innovation verticals with ICE “Young Leaders” and drive innovation agenda across the organization

- Share expert domain knowledge with business and technology teams in 1-2 key areas of innovation. Stay at the cutting edge of their fields

- Review and evaluate industry trends customer feedback, technological advancements and marketing requirement. Bring in the expert knowledge on evolution of key areas of innovation in coming areas and align Airtel strategy

- Drive the innovation culture and shall have touch and feel of technology as user

Partner with external stakeholders (Overall weightage: 25%)

- Design business case for driving adoption of new products and new business models within the organization

- Strategizing and choosing the right products and strike partnerships with external stakeholders to drive short term revenue and long term product innovation and growth perspective

- Innovate new business models to drive new revenues from existing products and enhance customer experience

- Build alliances, negotiate and strike deals with partners and independent product vendors

- Engage with external bodies e.g. GSMA, NASSCOM etc.

Influence internal stakeholders and build tight linkages with operating units (Overall weightage: 25%)

- Link closely with operating product managers

- Influence internal stakeholders across from Marketing, IT, Networks and customer service in India & south Asia and Africa to drive innovation agenda

- Evangelize product innovation for short term and long term global strategy of organization across India & South Asia and Africa

- Embrace a start-up culture to drive agility, collaboration, passion for innovation

- Possess tenacity to build consensus within internal stakeholders and expedite innovation agenda

- Link with operating units to drive synergy

Create Innovation roadmaps, synergy funnel and provide comprehensive reporting on innovation (Overall weightage: 10%)

- Strategize the short term (H1) and long term (H2 / H3) innovation roadmap

- Drive “synergy quotient” across India & South Asia and Africa

- Design and development of KPIs and MIS reporting for innovation.

- Design and publish analytics, emerging trends and market research information on innovation
