Position: DGM/ Head - Marketing (Leading Co in the Building Materials Industry)
Role:
- To lead the marketing function for creating brand affinity for the Company in the market and gain market share through marketing campaigns and other means
- Grow the market for the Company's products in the B2B & B2C segment by creating a premium position in the market for the products and the Corporate brand
- Responsible for market research & product development along with continuous process improvement.
- Excellent category and customer understanding in the market across all customer groups
- Overseeing both digital and non-digital communication channels to create awareness for the brand
- Responsible for new product / solutions development by identifying market potential, ensuring product development and product evaluation in market. Create a business plan to test launch and finalize on the business plan for solutions launch.
- Will be responsible for both customer marketing and product management
- Will be the custodian of the brand and create ATL communication both TVC and digital platforms thereby enhancing the brand image of the company
- Responsible for competition analysis & benchmarking in similar and substitute markets. Tracking performance and volume generation of competitor's products.
- Will head a team of 15-20 members, including Product Managers, Branding/ Customer Marketing & Digital Marketing professionals
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: BE + MBA from a good institute
- 12-15 yrs of experience in Marketing, preferably from the Building Materials Industry. The Company is also open to candidates from other Industries
- Should have good experience in Product Management, Brand Management, Brand Communications, Digital Marketing and Consumer Marketing
- Strong exposure to Digital Marketing and Consumer Marketing is required, besides Brand Management
- Should have shown consistent results over the course of his/her career
- Should be good at Relationship Building and working along with other stakeholders
- Should have a passion for Marketing
- Should have good oral and written communication skills
- Should be a keen observer of marketing trends amongst competition and should be able to spot trends and opportunities early
- Should have very high learning ability, if from another Industry
- Work history should exhibit job stability
