DGM HR Operations ( Head HR )


We are seeking an HR Leader with a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing Strategic and operational HR. Our client is a German MNC and leader in their segment.

KRA's :

Strategic leadership & partnering with business:

- As a member of the Indian leadership team, the HR Leader will provide strategic HR input to Indian operations, coach leaders on all aspects of the employment life cycle, role model the behaviors needed for engagement with employees, and guide leadership through the yearly HR milestones and initiatives.

- As a senior HR leader, drive forward and accept collective responsibility together with the business leader and other functional leaders for a range of departmental and cross-functional HR initiatives which are required to ensure that changes are embedded in a sustainable manner throughout the organization.

- Provide leadership that encourages our staff to recognize their contributions to the strategic objectives of the organization.

- Work hand-in-hand with the business and finance for planning and budgeting personal costs as per the Annual Operating Plan and in line with the Long-Range Plan.

Recruitment:

- Provide workforce planning and staffing support to all departments within the business unit.

- Workforce planning will consist of identifying the manpower requirements of the business unit and determining the ratio of on-roll & off-roll employees. It will also entail working closely with manpower consultants/placement agencies.

- Staffing support will involve mapping and management of new requisitions for full-time and temporary positions, shortlisting, screening/background verification, interviewing candidates and communications with candidates.

Onboarding & Orientation:

- Ensure the smooth transition and settlement of all new resources to their respective roles.

- Conduct employee onboarding and organizing training & development activities.

Policies & SOPs:

- Develop, implement and review HR policies and processes as per the evolving needs of the business, including the change management programs, to deliver continual improvement.

- Assist in ongoing HR related projects including working on metrics and reporting, job descriptions, implementing and updating policies and procedures, and HRIS projects.
