1. Job Description
a. TheDGM/GM-Sales report to the VP-S&M.
b. The entire National Sales Team will report to him.
c. The Sales responsibilities will include:
i. Preparing the Annual Sales Plan including sales, manpower plan, distribution objectives, reporting, BTL activities, costs and margins etc. and agreeing it with top management.
ii. Periodic reporting of progress (daily / weekly / monthly)
iii. Achieving agreed sales targets
iv. Ensuring that cost and margin budgets are met.
v. Training, motivation and control of the field force
vi. Management of distribution infrastructure: Depots/C&FA/Distributors/Retailers
vii. Implementation and control over BTL activities.
2. Profile
a. The candidate will need to be a seasoned and mature Manager with solid experience in FMCG Sales and some experience in Marketing, both BTL and ATL activities. He should have had experience in more than one region of India. Experience in North India is preferred.
b. The ideal candidate should have worked in sales at a Managerial level in packaged foods (Dairy/Biscuits/Beverages/Breakfast Cereals/Snack Foods) with an MNC/well organised Indian Company.Experience in beverages would be an added skill.
c. He should be a dynamic go getter with a strong focus on delivering results. He should be able to function effectively on his own in a relatively unstructured environment.
d. He should have a minimum of 12 years of sales experience and may be around 37 – 42 years old
e. An MBA degree from a good institute is a must for this position

a. The candidate will be based at New Delhi head office
