We are currently looking for an DGM/GM Manufacturing - Surface Engineering for a Global Conglomerate for a Green Field Project of approximate USD 1.5 Billion near Bangalore. JOB DESCRIPTION : - Responsible for establishing new process and new consumables ( Sand Paper, Scoring Pad, Blast Media, Alumina, Zerconia) - Optimising the process - Find out the optimum consumable - Surface quality products experience Required Qualification : B.E/ B.Tech/ - Mechanical Engineering KEY SKILLS : - Experience of thin walled aluminum products - Process Engineering in a mass manufacturing environment - Knowledge of Unigraphics - Version 12.0 and above / other engineering software tools - Technical white papers / thought leadership participation in engineering seminars - Knowledge of established as well as leading-edge tools and concepts in manufacturing like TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Six sigma etc. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; DELIVERABLES : Demonstrated, proven experience in: - Setting up of Sanding, sandblasting, Deburring process - Knowledge on all the above process equipment - Capable of identification of resources for above three processes - Establishing the process basis on customer specifications - Provide and have hands on experience - Developing metrics and reporting - Design and Identification of the right consumables and fixtures - Cost optimisation - Tuning of all the process, equipment to deliver the required quality level - Ensure safety of the products, process and people
