DGM/GM - Financial Planning & Analysis - Insurance

Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish) 

Manage Management information & Reporting, Planning and Budgeting and assist the senior leadership in performance measurement by providing timely, accurate and contextualized information. To manage Operating expenses budgeting and forecasting and cost management.

Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)

Management Information & Reporting :

- Responsible for the integrity, timeliness and accuracy of Management Reporting.

- Create and maintain procedures of key processes. Manage and contribute to the periodical reporting, including explanatory notes, analysis, advice and management information. Support the Management in the Planning and Forecasting process.

- Manage and Contribute to the monitoring of performance via analysis of income, expenses, balance sheet, results, value drivers and KPI's.

- To perform periodic analysis of the market and present to the management, performance vis-vis market, competition etc.

- Evaluation of distribution performance and advise (and support) Management in the decision making process.

2.Budgeting and Forecasting :

- Operating expense budgeting :

Coordinating the annual budgeting process for operating expenses; ensuring timely communication of the planning schedules and guidelines; providing input for with respect to operating expenses.

- Revenue Budgeting :

Coordinating the process for Revenue ; ensuring timely communication of the planning schedules and guidelines ; providing input for quarterly reporting with respect to revenue and operating expenses.

- Provide support to the Senior management in cost management

- Play an active role in cost containment activities
 
Project Involvement :

- Cost benefit analysis act as a regular team member

- Project budget

- Monitor and reporting realization of projects budgets

- Development and testing systems/applications to ensure accuracy and reliability of the information.
