DGM/GM - Finance - CA - Pharma

We have an urgent opening for one of the leading pharmaceutical company for the profile of DGM/GM Finance in Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities:

Finance Planning and Analysis:

Drive annual budgeting exercise in coordination with SBU team to draw up annual financial budgets(Revenue and Capex) for the business

Overhead control - establish annual budgets for each function and track actual expenses against budget allocations

Planning and executing projects towards responsive MIS, discovery analytics, predictive and prescriptive analytics

Generate periodic (monthly/ quarterly) performance reports against the budget and previous along with insights into performance drivers, deviations and key trends

Perform business analytics covering gross margin trend/ movement, product profitability analysis, customer profitability analysis and pricing analysis

Leadership towards use of information analytics and in-sighting in the organization.

Management Decision Support:

Provide business and financial analytics in support of key management decisions on capital allocation, pricing and business collaborations

Work with business to evaluate and operationalize potential inorganic proposals, including M&A, business collaborations and asset acquisitions

Drive cost improvement projects in coordination with operations, R&D and costing team

Partner with SBU team in identification, evaluation and selection of new products

Financial Controls:

Develop and maintain policy framework and ensure its compliance incorporating internal controls related to key business processes including revenue recognizing, accounts receivables, product pricing and delegation of financial powers

Ensure revenue Recognition as per generally accepted principles and policies

Carry out review of financial statements on periodical basis

Working Capital Management:

Prepare and circulate detailed monthly MIS on working capital outlining various performance indicators to assist management in reducing working capital investment

Prepare and circulate MIS on Inventory Management outlining value, turnover, ageing, etc

Debtors analyses including ageing, risk profile and taking measures for Risk mitigation and management

Qualification and Experience:

CA with 8-10 years- experience

Behavioral Skills:

Demonstrated negotiating and influencing skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, with ability to quickly and positively influence all levels of the organization.

Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
