Overview Primary role is managing and expanding company's Consulting business globally through effective service delivery, brand development and relationship management. In addition, as a critical member of the core delivery team, the Practice Head leads will also be responsible for managing delivery of the entire team, including ownership of P&amp;L and strategy. Responsibilities - Manage Programmes and Consulting Practice P&amp;L and lead a team of seasoned Sr. Consultants/Consultants experienced across domains and verticals - Effectively create, unify, and guide teams of people with disparate skills - Spearhead business development initiatives within Knowledge Services/Consulting unit and support company's BPO deals with consultative and solution capability - Drive all phases of business and solution development, including research, analysis, due diligence, and evaluation of final solution/proposition in the Consulting and BPO space - Promote firm development by taking initiative to identify and cultivate new clients and business opportunities, and identify opportunities to provide additional client value and extension of existing client relationships - Structure ambiguous problems, develop and apply conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches, create new tools and methodologies, and develop recommendations for client solution implementation - Independently structure, write, and present well-organized and persuasive end services - Utilize strong communications skills including the ability to command an audience - Develop intellectual capital including new and insightful frameworks and analysis - Be a strong team player and developer of consulting staff - Manage and collaborate effectively with team members of the consulting team and partner with cross-functional teams - Meet or exceed specific growth projection as well as report and measure progress against month, quarter and annual goals - Role will require extensive travel (both within India and outside) and flexibility in working hours Experience - Must have minimum 15 years of experience with at least 5 years in management consulting firm in the areas of strategy and solution development, organizational effectiveness, and operations improvement; including experience in managing and leading teams - Must have minimum 5-7 years of experience in business development and consulting capability development including identifying opportunities, developing relationships, scoping prospective engagements, and developing proposals - Strong solution selling (consultative selling) expertise - Comprehensive experience in building strategy and solution along with implementation - Experience working with both, Private and Public sectors globally and an established network of business relationships within the sector will be an advantage - Must have led mid and high scale projects in past, exposure to the end to end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the programmes Skills - Adept at structuring ambiguous problems and developing strategic solutions driven through implementation - Demonstrates an ability to think strategically and identify critical business issues - Possesses exceptional analytical skills and experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis - Possesses a strong entrepreneurial drive and spirit - Has strong interpersonal and networking skills - Heightened business acumen including knowledge of P&amp;L accounting - Skill at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness - Strong inductive and deductive reasoning with proven ability to hypothesize customer business direction and synthesize the implications for the Customer's business - Ability and willingness to teach and challenge the Customer and within the organization - High EQ and IQ - Is decisive; maintains a clear focus and sees action through to delivery - Is energetic, determined, positive, goal-focused and consistent - even under pressure - Builds trust and demonstrates integrity in all circumstances Qualifications - MBA from a top-tier business school - Project Management Professional (PMP or Prince II) - Lean Six Sigma BB/MBB preferred Measurement &amp; Goals - % increase in Knowledge Services revenue - % increase in growth of core (Programmes and Consulting) based on Continuum opportunities - Goal attainment of initiatives and plans defined within the strategic plan - Capability development - Team management - EBITDA performance of the Knowledge Services
