DGM/GM - Accounts - CA - Supply Chain Startup

We have an excellent Opportunity in a leading Supply Chain Industry(Startup) based out in Mumbai for the role of DGM Accounts.

Position: Deputy General Manager - Accounts

Team Handling: 5-6 people

Experience: 7+ years of experience

Qualifications Required: CA

Reporting To: Financial Controller /CFO

Responsibilities:

- Handling the responsibility right from preparation of checklist up to the stage of Finalization and preparation and submission of Tax Audit Reports.

- Prepare all necessary month end reports as required by Management.

- Monthly Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet preparation.

- Handling Statutory payments and Filing Returns (VAT, Service Tax, TDS, TCS, PT).

- Handling Scrutiny assessments of Income Tax, Sales Tax, Service Tax and Professional tax.

- Preparation and submission of VAT Audit Reports.

- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met and maintain financial data base.

- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.

- Finalization of Accounts and Preparation of Annual Report of the Company

- Maintenance of Books of Accounts and Internal Control Documentation

- Ensuring checking of vouchers, petty cash vouchers with before making payment to Vendor.

- Ensure payments are allocated in a timely manner to facilitate bank reconciliation

- Regular audit management with banking institutions

- Reconcile the fixed assets and inventory on periodic basis

- Basically someone who is into hardcore Accounts & someone who is well versed with Accounting Standards.
