DGM - Global Travel Operations & Immigration  Job Description :  - Responsible for planning business travel / Immigration for other members of the company.   - Should be familiar with operations and schedules of modes of transportation such as airlines, trains and road in their home country and also overseas to recommend best suited routes.   - You need to have added responsibility of managing internal travel department staff and also appointed travel agent responsible to handle / coordinate all travel and related arrangements within the prescribed budgets.   - Should have good knowledge on passport, visa and immigration formalities to advice and support travelers accordingly in normal times and in case of emergencies.  - Provide all required support in planning and executing of all logistics support for various company events in home country and overseas. Should have good network with supplier's viz. airlines, hotels, event management companies and other support vendors to ensure smooth and successful events at the bets cost.  - Responsible for selection, negotiations of various suppliers- travel agents, airlines, hotels, transporters, other travel support vendors like Forex suppliers, insurance service providers to provide all the required services for enabling hassle free and safe travel at the best cost.   - Ensure prompt payments to all suppliers / vendors post review of all invoices as per the laid process.   - Conduct surprise checks to ensure all compliances as per company policies and review of all data / MIS at regular intervals to ensure adherence of the contracted rates and also for enabling better negotiations with vendors on contract renewals.  - Assist with formulation of various company policies for travel, conducting and supporting various internal and external audits. Also support automation of various processes to ease the process by reducing manual intervention.  - Bachelor's degree, Diploma / Diploma in Travel & Tourism / Travel related courses.
