DGM - Finance/System Controller - Automotive Firm

Responsibilities :

- Ability to understand business processes and systems.

- Collecting and analyzing data related to expenses from each business/function

- Estimating costs and comparing budgets with actual expenses

- Monitoring costs in case of any significant changes in products or processes

- Gather and analyze financial data. Well-versed with SAP FI to extract data on a frequent basis and work on even minor details for identifying the alarming costs.

- Suggest cost-optimizing or profitable solutions

- Continuous churning of Data. Keen to dig and identify the variation in actuals and budgeted.

- Conduct detailed analysis of expense data, including but not limited to, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and discretionary spending.

- Keep a proper check on the increasing trend of expenses and sensitize the concerned department to control the same.

- Create and maintain reports & dashboards that visualize key expense metrics, trends, and variances.

- Present findings and insights to concern businesses/depts., making complex financial data accessible and actionable

- Compare forecasted and actual expenses, discuss with the department head, if the difference is alarming.

- Standardize processes and use learnings across businesses, benchmark external organizations and adhere to industry standards to develop a robust cost control system.

- Generate expense reports and work closely with the analytics team to represent exceptions, KPIs and trends analysis at AFS level
