DGM - Finance Projects

This person will be responsible for any special finance projects, could be tax related, could be transaction related, could be MIS/system related, audit related or transaction related. The person should be able to work on Mergers / acquisitions or IPO related work.

- Hard core finance person who has been finance no 2 in a large manufacturing/services company. 10-15 years full finance experience managing challenging finance situations on tax and transactions.

- Good tax and corporate law knowledge AND a very high inclination to probe and validate issues/situations

- Strong business sense

- Good external network to reach out to lawyers, consultants

This profile involves working on project timelines and putting system & processes to streamline the new business models, cities etc . The person will work closely with the finance team to ease their time in completing their day jobs. He will pull together a team from within the organisation (finance and business) to help with his special projects or hire external consultants to meet the business requirements. He should be able to manage peaks and troughs of projects.

Leader and ability to earn respect of business /functional leaders across the organisation.
