Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

- Act as a cultural ambassador, driving enthusiasm and energy throughout the organization by administering and enhancing employee engagement and reward and recognition programs

- Collaborate with key stakeholders and develop comprehensive and sustainable short & long-term employee engagement strategies:

- This will involve working closely with senior leaders, BUHR and RHR to develop strategies and demonstrating linkage between engagement and their business outcomes including the annual employee engagement survey, Managerial Effectiveness survey and recognition programs

- Work with cross-functional teams to identify unique BU/Regional needs while balancing the overall purpose and requirements of the organisation's employee engagement strategy

- Design, launch, and manage key employee engagement projects and initiatives

- Act a liaison for employees by proactively building relationships and leveraging key organization events to create programs and sustain dialogue around engagement

- This will involve collecting timely data to support business initiatives through focus groups, surveys, town halls, one-on-one interviews, Coffee Chats and other methodology

- Evaluate and apply the data to support decisions.

- Support the strategic and reporting needs of other HR functions including Diversity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, Talent Management, etc.

- Create tools, training materials, and resources to help Business HR, Regional HR and leaders to analyze their own engagement related data and build action plans

- Develop employee recognition strategies to include reviewing, evaluating and making recommendations for global recognition programs

- Develop and manage budget related to employee engagement including external agencies and contractors

Position Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in organizational communications, change management, employee engagement or internal communications

- The ability to rapidly earn the confidence and trust of the business leaders and be viewed as a strategic business partner, not just a functional expert. Ability to project a confident leadership image to superiors and peers

- Proven experience in designing and implementing communications and engagement strategies in complex organizations and across diverse employee and leadership groups

- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into simple messages for a variety of audiences

- Ability to communicate effectively with global audiences with sensitivity to cultural influences

- High aptitude for social media and strong product marketing & campaigning skills

- Demonstrated ability to create high quality work, calmly and with good judgment in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

- Experience in working with detailed information and numerical data and presenting it in a way that is easily understood by people at different levels in the organization.

- Experience in change management to improve efficiency and effectiveness

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence and gain consensus

- A solid knowledge of industry's recent best and emerging practices
