DGM - Digitization

Job Description:

- Lead and establish the Digitalization team in India, focusing on ramping up tools and processes. Collaborate with the global digitalization community, contribute to the digital ecosystem, and develop in-depth knowledge of customer processes and technologies.

- Create digital offerings tailored to customer needs, translating demands into actionable roadmaps. Develop business models and go-to-market strategies for monetizing digital services in coordination with R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Finance.

- Align local solutions with global initiatives to contribute to the Process digital ecosystem. Inspire innovation and implement digital products and process solutions using internal resources. Drive the digitalization of the SPG value chain, fostering internal digital transformation.

Experience:

- Proven track record in large-scale digital transformation projects within manufacturing/engineering environments.

- Ability to lead matrix and cross-domain teams.

- International experience working with diverse countries and cultures.

- Strong presentation and communication skills in English.

- Exposure to IoT/Industry 4.0 strategy and implementation.

Requirements & Experiences:

- Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Information Technology.

- Certification/Diploma in Digitalization Technology in Engineering or Manufacturing.

- 15-20 years of digitalization process experience in manufacturing/engineering/technology-driven organizations.

- Vendor development experience, thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical items.

- Contract handling experience with suppliers.

- Good technical knowledge of systems, products, and tech data sheets.

- Strong English communication skills.

- Negotiation skills.

- Knowledge of commercial and statutory requirements in India.

- Independent and team-oriented working attitude.

- Cost and quality conscious with quick decision-making abilities aligned with processes and policies.
