Job Title: Business Manager

Reports to: GM - Retail

Position Title: Deputy General Manager

Span of Control: 7-8

Job Definition : 

Designing & implementing strategies, improving operating efficiencies and leading the team to maximize brand experience, achieve sales KPI's and ensure smooth functioning of Large Format Store of Electronics.

Key Objectives of the Position : 

1. Sales Target

2. Marketing Budget Management

3. NPS

4. Walk-ins & Conversion

5. Mystery Shopper Audit

6. Social Media Metrics

Key Tasks - Areas of Responsibility : 

Sales & Profitability :

- Creation & execution of Annual/ Quarterly/Monthly business plan for the store

- Creation and execution of annual store marketing calendar.

- Driving the product & merchandising mix of company & third party brands for the store in conjunction with the distributor & franchisee.

- Drive product forecasting & availability with franchisee, distributors, and regional teams for better planning.

- Manage overall budgets for marketing & store opex for optimizing profitability.

 Franchisee & Partner Management :

- Engaging with franchisee for optimal delivery on agreed scope of work.

- Supervision and monitoring of franchisee team for delivery on agreed business plan

- Engage with other partners e.g. caf- for optimal store operations

 Ownership of additional revenue streams :

- Planning and driving revenues from alternative channels

- B2B-Devices & Solutions

- Third party partnerships (product or service)

- Any other opportunities for monetization

- Customer Experience Delivery

- Adapt or define standards for customer experience and ensure delivery through the corporate & franchisee team.

- Ensure effective functioning of customer experience programs e.g. unboxing & unassisted experience, customer training, customer service.

- Identify areas for delighting customers and executing plans for the same.

- Generate actionable insights from customers and take suitable actions for areas of improvement.

 Customer Engagement Delivery :

- Ensure effective delivery of customer engagement programs. E.g. events

- Ensure effective utilization and functioning of key assets like VR etc.

- Identifying possibilities for updating engagement programs.

 Adherence to operations handbook :
 
- Creation and adaption of the operations handbook

- Establishing the operations handbook as a way of life for store team.

Knowledge & Experience Required, Other key information regarding the Profile :

- Post Graduate / Graduate in any discipline

- Experience 14 years+ in Retail industry, preferable lifestyle or fashion retail

- Experience of managing large store formats.

- Experience of working with a multinational

- Strong interpersonal and man management skills

- Should have good communication skills

- Should have agency/vendor management skills

- Should have an eye for detail, knowledge of excel and power point

- Interpersonal, Negotiation & Relationship Management skills

- Excellent Networking within the Industry

- High on self-Motivation+, positive attitude and work ethic desired.
