Designation : DGM – Pharma Vertical

Role : Vertical Lead - Pharma

Location : Chennai

Experience Requirement : 10 -16 years

Educational Qualifications : Masters in Econometrics / Statistics / Mathematics / Engineering / Operations Research

Reporting to: VP - Analytics

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Solution and deliver pharma/life sciences/healthcare analytics offerings as appropriate

- Manage pharma/life sciences/healthcare projects from solutioning to delivery

Other General Responsibilities will be :

- Day to day administrative responsibility of the team members in projects

- Providing technical advisory to ongoing analytics projects

- Remote Client Management

- Providing support to Practice Management & Pre-Sales using material generated out of on-going project

- Support knowledge management across the analytics organization

- Provide functional training to all analytics professionals in the organization (Project Managers, Data Miners, Data Analysts, Business Consultants etc.)

- Participate in client/internal company verticals in pharma/healthcare discussions for analytics business development

- Drive operational excellence in healthcare/pharma projects from execution point of view

Most Essential Competencies Required :

- Knowledge of the global healthcare/life sciences industry and emerging trends

- Minimum 10 years of work experience in using data/analytics in Industry or as a consultant or as a member of an analytics organization in similar domains

- Proven track record of managing teams across locations and delivering to plan

Other Essential Skillsets :

- Should have used or applied analytics in business

- Should have supported business decision making in the industry

- Domain knowledge of pharma/healthcare industry and current market conditions

- Should have managed teams in delivering analytics

- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate a point of view up and down the line

- Should have reasonable understanding of technology used in analytics

- Strong analytical/ programming skills (job function doesn’t require programming but requires skill to advice team members on programming)

- Strong documentation/presentation skill to perform successful mentoring to junior team members

- Ability to make disciplined decisions

- Should have demonstrated interpersonal and relationship building skills

- Should be flexible and adaptable to change and ability to multitask

- Strategic orientation to provide leadership and mentoring is absolute necessary
