Job Description: AGM Strategy & Growth - Reporting to: Head M&A - Location: Mumbai Purpose: Assisting CMDs office to evaluate, drive and implement strategic projects as well as greenfield and brownfield expansion projects across business verticals and across geographies. To help senior management to take informed decisions by performing comprehensive evaluation of project opportunities from strategic, financial, commercial, and regulatory perspective and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Roles and Responsibilities: - Work closely with Chief Strategy Officer and Head-M&A to drive organic growth for the group through new projects (internal as well as external) and investment opportunities assist in taking informed decisions based on razor sharp analysis - Assist the team in exploring and evaluating new projects, greenfield as well as brownfield: - Discussions with internal stakeholders and provide inputs on strategic priorities- Understanding the scope of new projects initiated internally as well as industry research and market intelligence to identify new external projects including PPP opportunities, private sector bids, assets available through liquidation process, etc. - Undertaking extensive industry research & feasibility studies to assess demand & growth potential, revenue & cost drivers, capex, financing, etc. creating a viable business case / value proposition. - Assist in creating appropriate financial framework and financial model for determining financial viability of projects including ROE, ROCE, IRR, etc. as well as performing sensitivity analysis on key parameters - Identify key risks & challenges internal as well as external and assist in designing mitigation frameworks, or adequately factor the risks in financial evaluation - Collaborate & work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants for obtaining relevant inputs - Create presentations for management and senior leadership to present business case & financial feasibility for new opportunities / projects - Assist senior leadership in driving business performance management and strategic programs for different business verticals - To collaborate and work with different teams across the organization on various initiatives and workstreams Key Skill Sets - Passion for new projects & initiatives - Research skills (and good understanding of) covering macro factors, industry specific issues, regulatory aspects - Good understanding of financial aspects & key financial metrics - Strong financial modelling skills - Good presentation skills ability to make concise, powerful & impactful slides - Good communication skills for interactions with internal & external stakeholders Candidate profile - CA or CFA or MBA (from good institute) - 8-12 yrs. of which at least 4-5 years of experience in Business Consulting (with major or mid-tier consulting firm) or Corporate Strategy (with a diversified conglomerate) - Experience of working on greenfield or brownfield projects, feasibility studies, industry research to identify new strategic business opportunities.
