Roles & responsibilities :

Litigation & Arbitration (Mining):

A. Assisting in Arbitration and Litigation cases /matters PAN India.

B. Preparation of pleadings like claims, counter claims, petitions, applications, written statements/replies, and Notes of arguments, can do legal research and precedents,

C. Vetting of contractual communications, agreements and advise to business team on mining issues on legal aspects.,

D. Have knowledge of court proceedings including environmental laws, labour laws, contracts, arbitration etc.

E. Coordination with advocates.

F. Meeting and interacting with businesses, understanding of issues and facts.

G. Making strategy internally with Legal HOD and Business teams.

H. Assisting team in preparation of MIS, Litigation updates and budget.

- Develop & Establish Legal Team & Create Legal Awareness

1. To establish legal team and create awareness on legal issues for Mining Business.

2. To assist Mining Business in developing an appropriate Legal Strategy relating to efficient and effective handling of Arbitration and litigation.

- Assistance in Decision Making

- Drafting, Review, Vetting of Agreements, Tenders and Other Legal Documents.

3. To meet and respond to the legal issues of Mining Team effectively and efficiently and to assist Mining Business in achieving its financial/commercial targets by taking care of legal issues which crop up during performance of business.

- Drafting, Vetting of the contracts / legal documentation. Review Tenders etc. Interpretation of Legal Clauses

- Effective Handling of Litigation

4. To assist Mining Business in achieving its financial/commercial targets by taking care of legal issues which crop up during performance of business.

- Effective Handling of Litigation. Effective monitoring of litigation. Review Litigation. Empanel, engage and retain lawyers.

- Handling of Legal Queries

5. To meet and respond to the legal issues of Mining Team effectively and efficiently and to assist Mining Business in achieving its financial/commercial targets by taking care of legal issues which crop up during performance of business.

- Contractual Compliance, Review Tender & Other Documents, Drafting of Legal Documents.

- Legal Compliance

6. To assist Mining Business in achieving its financial/commercial targets by taking care of legal issues which crop up during performance of business.

- Assist in Pro-active Decision Making

- Litigation and Arbitration

7. To care of litigation and Arbitration which crop up during performance of business.

To review old and new litigation. Effective Handling of legal cases including arbitration, Writ Petition etc. Emplanement of Legal Counsels and Law Firms and monitoring of litigation.
