Location: Mumbai

The candidate should have the ability to lead the Accounts & Finance the accounts team. Should have good hands-on experience in aligning processes. The candidate will be reporting into the Managing Director of the company.

The candidate should be a CA/Inter CA/ ICWA with 6+ Years of post qualification experience in relevant companies in the construction / real estate / land development industry. He / she should have a good grasp and working knowledge on accounting software / ERP. The candidate must have an expertise of Accounts, Treasury, Banking & Controls, Tax Compliances & Finance.

Desired Candidate Requirement

- Qualification: CA/ Inter CA/ CWA

- Responsible for handling various audits, liasioning with the auditors.

- Expert knowledge in Finance and accounts, taxation and statutory compliances.

- Should have handled external and internal audits independently.

- Should have worked in business facing role.

- Should be an expert in preparing Management Information and providing business commentaries

- Exposure to Tally ERP & MS-Office, Ability to understanding of the ERP

- Detail & System oriented, Team Player, Effective & Communication Skills, Enthusiastic to take new initiatives

Roles & Responsibilities:

Accounts, Treasury & Banking :

- Preparation of monthly / annual budget.

- Analyse variances and provide commentaries on the budget vs. forecast vs. actuals

- Performing financial analysis including ageing

- Support the senior stakeholders in the company to provide timely MIS

- Responsible Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly book closures

- To supervise , monitor and ensure Payables & Receivables are functioning as per the set protocols and identify the improvement areas.

- To manage & monitor Cash Flow on day to day basis.

- To ensure timely billing for properties leased and for recovery of installments against properties under construction

- Responsible for handling various audits, liasioning with the auditors.

Taxation & Compliance :

- To ensure all direct & indirect tax compliances including GST

- Compliance with RERA requirements regular basis;

- Responding to the notices from Tax Authorities;

- To provide extensive support from accounting records, documents & relevant Rules / clauses perspective to Tax with Tax consultants/ Authorities on Tax Assessments/ Scrutiny/ Appeals etc and personally attend wherever required.

Other Areas :

- To understand the current organizational processes, systems, controls and implementation of the controls as well as suggest improvements in the same.

- To ensure maximum utilization of organizational ERP and systems

- To lead the team from the front and demonstrate by setting an example by him/her of a Work-o-holic spirit.

- To act as a facilitator to the other department HOD's from timely action of Payables & Receivables .

- To be abreast on Statutory Tax changes & properly informing the contracts department for implementation of same.
