Investment Analyst - Venture Capital

- Dexter Angels is a leading angel syndicate looking for an Investment Analyst to join the investment team.

- The ideal candidate should have a passion for the venture capital and startup ecosystem in India.

- He/She should be interested in building a career in the investments industry where he/she would be working with founders of early stage companies and providing support to help them grow.

Key responsibilities :

- Identify new investment opportunities

- Support team to build an exclusive network of investors

- Execute the process of investments in selected opportunities : due-diligence, running the deal with network of investors, documentation closure

- Work with portfolio companies to help them in their growth journey

- Support building the Dexter Angels brand by ideating and executing on conducting events and representing Dexter in external events

Key Skills :

- Deep interest in venture capital ecosystem is required for this role. Working in VC industry requires one to deal with ambiguity and data scarcity, thus only a deep interest helps one thrive in this industry

- Outstanding Interpersonal skills, with an ability to converse with investors and entrepreneurs and build a strong network

- Ability to mine data, think critically and do primary and secondary research on business models. Keen interest in reading about business and management

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to present your arguments in a crisp and clear fashion

- A motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset

- An experience of 1-3 years in venture capital or investment banking is required. Good network in the entrepreneurial ecosystem will be useful

- Post graduates will be preferred
