Fixed Income Research Lead About Us : - We are a stealth-mode fin-tech startup funded by leading investors. We are on a mission to democratize fixed-income investing in India. - We are looking for an attentive and analytical person to join us as our in-house fixed income research lead. The candidate is required to have a good understanding of bond markets and excellent communication skills. - He/ She should be adept in valuation of bonds, bond market data extraction and structuring this data. Role & Responsibilities : - Map the government securities and the corporate bond market landscape. - Categorize the securities and develop an in-house search framework. - Identify investment catalysts and business risks, and form an opinion. - Assess the relative value of investment opportunities by interpreting risk-reward parameters, legal and capital structures, bond covenants, market drivers, and value of available alternatives. - Keep track of relevant news and analyze potential impact. - Develop cutting-edge thought leadership. - Partner with the team to develop fixed income research agenda. - Support and defend the recommendations in both verbal and written formats. Requirements : - At least 2 years of fixed income experience at a bond-house, asset manager company or investment bank. - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, financial discipline, or engineering; a CFA, MBA or a Master's degree in a quantitative or financial discipline is preferred. - Practical experience with financial databases. - Good team player. - Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills including ability to distill complex ideas into simple explanations. Compensation : - We are looking for star performers and are willing to compensate them with above market salaries. In addition to the salary, there will also be significant allocation of ESOP's. - The candidate will be working directly with the founders and get significant exposure to all functions of an early-stage startup limited not just to research but also product management, scaling up and business development.
