Development Manager - JSP/Java/Javascript/Ajax/AngularJS - BFSI

Development Manager

- He / She will be responsible for the engineering management of one or more of products.

- Handling a team of 10-15 developers, product owners, UX including code reviews & people management.

- Extremely strong coding background, passion for designing architecting software components.

Should have hands-on experience on one or more of the following :

- Web/ Database development - hands on with JSP/Java/Javascript/Ajax/AngularJS or any other frameworks

- Middle tier handson with Application servers, ESB, messaging architectures, multi-tier s/w development

- Prior experience of mentoring Sr. engineers.

- Strong technical skills with experience in developing world class software

- Desire to mentor a team and the ability to drive it to accomplish deliverables

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Can set and meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize. Able to manage a high volume of tasks and multiple projects.

- Outstanding interpersonal skills; must display customer obsession, patience, humour and a can-do / whatever-it-takes resourceful and positive attitude.

- Agile development practices

- Engineering degree, preferably in CS or related discipline

- Enterprise or consumer internet product development background a definite plus.
