Qualifications and Experience

Essential

- Master's or higher degree in Economics.

- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience as an economist in the domain of economic policy /analysis

- Less than 65 years of age as on 1st August'2021.

Preferred:

- Experience of working with State / Central Government or any other organization under the aegis of State / Central Government / bilateral / multilateral organizations or global / Indian financial institutions / economic think tanks (e.g. WorldBank, DFID, UNDP, ADB, IMF etc.) as an economist.

- Experience in policy and system reforms/ working on alternative models of Economic development/Development of finance instruments

- Certificates / Courses (duration not less than 15 days) in relevant areas.

- Honors/ Awards/ recognized publications in relevant area will be an added advantage

- Education higher than Master's or higher degree in Economics
