Treasury at Deutsche Bank is a corporate function whose - customers- are the internal businesses of the bank, i.e. Corporate and Investment Bank (including Corporate Finance, Markets and Global Transaction Banking), Asset Management, Private & Commercial Clients and Wealth Management.
Treasury manages the capital, funding, liquidity and transfer pricing of the Deutsche Bank group of companies.
Treasury operates a - hub and spokes- model, with staff concentrated mainly in the major hubs of Frankfurt, London, New York and Singapore, but with a small presence also in Tokyo, Sydney, Brazil, Mumbai and Shanghai.
Responsibilities / Tasks
The position of Associate/Assistant Vice President - Capital Management is responsible for (but not limited to):
- Monitoring progress projections
- Execution of capital projections
- Coordinating review and challenge workshops
- Coordinating the presentation of results
- Enhance trigger frameworks for liquidity and capital
- Participate in legal entity strategy projects and workshops
- Participate in strategic legal entity programs
- Coordinating/supporting the implementation of various regulations affecting capital structure of the North American entities
Experience / Exposure:
- At least 2-5 years of experience at a major bank or consulting firm, with specific experience in capital stress testing, preferred
- University degree with the concentration in economics, finance, or accounting preferred
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written including the ability to draft high-quality communications in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with teams, matrix management, and multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional process and project management skills, with the ability to execute against tight deadlines and remain agile to evolving requirements
- Strong presentation skills including proficiency with MS Office suite, proficiency in Wdesk a plus
- CFA preferred, but not required

Education/ Qualifications
University graduate/Post Graduate or equivalent degree in finance, economics, mathematics or engineering is a must. Masters qualifications or above would be considered an advantage.
