Design Qandy - Project Manager

DesignQandy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage technical project(s) and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The candidate will prepare project execution plan(s) and identify technical and business resources needed. The candidate will review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. The candidate will assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The candidate will provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.

Responsibilities for Project Manager:

- Determine and define project scope and objectives

- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements

- Track project costs in order to meet budget

- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

- Developing, troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining client websites

- Researching, installing, and configuring Magento extensions

- Extending Magento functionality through custom programming

Candidate should have:

- Experience with Magento eCommerce platform (preferred, not required)

- The ability to effectively manage multiple medium-sized eCommerce projects or individual large-sized eCommerce projects

- A solid understanding of the technical aspects of online applications, web development, eCommerce, development frameworks, and toolsets preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse and experienced group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts

- Project Management Institute (PMI) certified (preferred, not required)

- Agile PM experience

- Experience in integrated eCommerce B2B/B2C projects in a consulting role

- A self-starter mindset with strong business judgment who can initiate action and follow through with well-defined solutions

- Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience
