Design/Product Analyst - Medical Devices Development

- You will play an instrumental role in the development and testing of our neonatal CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure), teaming up with the existing team to help move the current revision through the First-in-Human clinical study and into the final design. Our safe and effective CPAP aims to combat Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS), which is responsible for the majority of the 1 million babies that die each year from prematurity related causes.

- Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be a key member of the leadership team and critical to the future success of the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on lifelong learner who integrates broad technical, design, and business expertise and thrives working in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities :

- We want to expand our portfolio through in-house development, technology acquisitions, and partnerships that promise to address key global health issues. You will be instrumental in executing this strategy by:

- Technical lead to support a First-in-Human study with a neonatal respiratory device. Ensure the devices are being used safely and diagnose problems as they arise.

- Conduct trainings on how to use the device.

- Lead human factors study during the clinical study. Collect data and observe clinicians to drive improvements in the product.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical, biomedical, or electrical with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in medical device development.

- User-centered design or biodesign experience

- Experience performing observational studies focused on user-centered design and needs finding.

- Successful technical skills for device troubleshooting and development across mechanical and electrical programmes
