Design Manager - Casuals/Activewear

- Define product calendar for the brand basis brand strategy, roadmap and trends

- Managing end to end design process from conceptualisation to final styling

- Mentor team of designers to meet brand objectives and targets

- Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques

- Identifying manufacturer/vendors to source products/materials

- Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts

- Selecting appropriate fabrics and trims

- Creating production sketches for development packages

- Spearheading processes and techniques to enhance the quality of the output

- Weekly/monthly tracking of P&L to maximise revenue

Requirement:

- 5+ years of relevant experience

- Strong knowledge of knit fabrics

- Should have sense of design/style, analytical thinking and decision making capabilities

- Role is based out of Chennai/Bangalore
