Design Cafe - Vendor Manager

Responsibilities:

- As a Vendor Manager, you will lead in establishing and building relationships with different vendors like civil, painting, carpentry, Plumbers, electrical, HVAC, transporters and conduct vendor negotiations.

- Capacity Tracker: Maintain real time information regarding vendor for each item and their capacity based on which need to on board additional vendors.

- Vendor performance is monitored, reported, tracked.

- Vendor registration and order management

- Warehouse management

- Handle finance and accounts for the vendors- PI/PO/Invoice/Payments.

- Coordinate with the finance team for payments.

- Keep a quality and behavior check on the vendors.

- In charge of local procurement

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience: - min 4 years of experience doing similar roles.

- Strong Knowledge of materials and processes used in woodwork and civil construction.

- Good communicator and negotiator and have interpersonal skills to effectively maintain vendor relationships.

- Must also possess strong analytical acumen and be comfortable drawing metric-based conclusions.

- Languages: English & Tamil proficiency.

- Proficiency in Advance Excel, proven analytical skills and highly numerate

- Strong negotiation, vendor management and decision-making skills.

- A willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done.
