Design Cafe - Director - Product Development

- As Director Product Development, you will be responsible for defining product goals for multidisciplinary teams. You will be a leader, who will not only evolve the technology within the organization, but also motivate your team to challenge limits at every stage. You will carry us through challenges and opportunities of our chosen niche.

- Create the overall product road-map, drive continuous improvement in existing products and features. Build & manage a team of product-managers who can design and deliver great products.

- Product Execution: Focus on delivering products in a timely manner with high quality. Familiarity with multiple product development practices and tools.

- This role requires a passion for understanding customer behaviors, service design, mobile and human/computer interaction to maximize impact. The right leader brings deep knowledge of the product management process, previous experience crafting end-to-end experiences for the customer

- You will lead multiple Product Managers who are launching and scaling products with a specific focus on elevating the in-store experience. You- ll create a clear point of view on how Product can make our omnichannel services more effective and positively benefit our customer.

An Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Skills

- 12 -15 years of experience in product management with Proven ability to build successful products from scratch.

- MBA from a top-tier business school with an engineering degree is a must

- Understanding of technology, product development, product management, product planning.

- Lead, manage and mentor a team of product managers, directors, and related personnel.

- Product lifecycle management from concept to phasing out of the product(s) across all products/product lines.

- Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy and vision in line with the businesses long-term goals.

- Deep sense of customer empathy, and UX design sensitivity. Record of building great customer experiences.
