Derivatives Operations Analyst - BFSI

Role:

- Seeking to recruit a young analyst who would join our operations team to support derivatives business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Capture OTC and exchange traded derivatives trades in banking and risk systems.

- Create new instruments and update EoD prices in systems

- Send trade confirmations and expiry notifications to clients and other stakeholders

- Reconcile daily positions bank internal systems and brokers

- Escalate breaks as per SOP

- Generate reports for open OTC positions, monthly fees etc for internal teams

- Maintain close coordination with traders, finance managers and risk managers

- Support Head of India Operation with ad hoc tasks.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Must be willing to work late evening and night shifts

- High attention to detail

- 2-4 years of trading operations experience within a reputed financial institution

- Hands-on experience with trade booking systems and reconciliations

- Basic understanding and/or interest in derivatives
