Deputy Vice President - Strategy - BFSI

This person will be responsible for:

Strategic Projects :

- Pivotal role in ideation for driving innovation and business transformation which translates into strategic initiatives

- Ensure last mile implementation of projects driven by the Strategy Team.

- Ensure the Strategic projects are implemented without cost and time overrun.

- Drive utilization of the key initiatives inside the organization to increase productivity, improve customer experience and improve business efficiency.

Strategic areas :

- Play pivotal role in key assignments by preparing management presentations, board presentations, business cases, detailed reports, data driven insights for the MD & CEO

- Conduct Market Research and identify key projects for implementation and remaining abreast with the competition.

Reporting & Monitoring :

- Tracking progress of Board Strategy, key initiatives across functions and reporting to senior leadership

- Liaison with internal stake holders for providing constant updates to the MD & CEO and Deputy CEO

- Analyzing trends & MIS and build insights for decision-making in existing businesses reporting to MD & CEO and Deputy CEO

Communication & Coordination :

- Assist the MD & CEO and Deputy CEO in all the ad-hoc communications with internal and external stake holders on a need-based basis

- Conduct research to substantiate the internal and external communications from the MD & CEO and Deputy CEO in panel discussions and conferences

- Assisting in preparing the detailed business proposals for Strategic Tie Ups and support Business Development team in RFP requirements for Corporate Agency Tie Ups

- Ensure that all the relevant escalations happen to the leadership, in a timely manner.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :

a. Conceptualizing and driving the key Strategic Projects

b. Exploratory Analysis - Monthly MI, Benefit Realization of the key strategic projects, provide Macro Environment update to leadership

c. Lead Strategy team in Board Presentations, Presentations made to Shareholders, Town Hall Presentations, Business Cases, Business Proposals and other presentations for the leadership

d. Support in Market Research in identifying key projects for implementation and remaining abreast with the competition.

e. 8 Years or more prior Experience desirable in BFSI sector
