Deputy Vice President - Card Analytics

About the Role

The candidate will be a part of the Cards marketing analytics team focusing on portfolio programs for credit cards. This team is responsible for analyzing campaign performance, channel optimization, and leveraging data to identify opportunity areas. These enhancements contribute to credit line increase and Insta Loan disbursal for the bank

Key Responsibilities :

The candidate will be responsible for the following in his/her job role:

- Business Growth: Drive business growth by identifying opportunity areas for higher conversion by different channels; set test and learn agenda

- Portfolio Building: Leverage data to share insights on share of wallet, external opportunity to build credit card balances; benchmark against competitors

- Execution Excellence: Error free and automated execution of the programs utilizing bank's key data sources

- Team Building: Leading a team of 5-7 analysts; drive the training agenda for the team. Retain key talent

Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative subject such as Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics or Finance

Role Proficiencies:

Skills

- Should have 10+ years of experience in Analytics domain; preferably in BFSI domain. Candidates with experience in BFSI Cards Analytics will be preferred.

- Team Leadership Experience of 4+ years

- Preferably have experience on SAS or R or Bigdata or Python

- Should have strong data handling, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to process large volume of transaction level data and efficiently derive actionable results.

- Should have a 'results oriented' attitude with 'go get it done' skill

- Should have Good project management skills while working with both internal and external partners

- Should have a high degree of motivation with a continuous thirst for learning

- Banking Analytics experience preferred but not mandatory for talented candidates
