Role & Responsibilities : 1. Advanced knowledge and interest in various aspects related to following regulations: - Tax on corporates, expatriates and individuals under the Income Tax Act - Cross border taxation, esp. Transfer Pricing & Double Tax Avoidance agreements - Withholding taxes - In relation to domestic and international transactions - Analyzing PE exposure for foreign companies entering into service support/and other agreements in India; - Advising on possible tax consequences on deputation/secondment of employees - Well versed with the provisions of newly enacted law Good & Services Tax - especially ITC, refunds and applicability of GST under export of services etc. - Foreign exchange regulations and rules mandated by RBI - FDI regulations - FCRA - General idea of Corporate law viz. Companies Act, LLP Act and other commercial regulations applicable thereto. 2. Intermediate level knowledge and interest in: - Financial advisory e.g. due diligence, financial modelling - Generally accepted accounting principles 3. Good knowledge of compliances and statutory requirements (with regard to above listed regulations) for e.g. Income Tax Returns, advance taxes, withholding taxes, RBI filings, secretarial filings etc. 4. Superior communications skills, both written and verbal English, along with advanced skills with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Power-point and word) Minimum required qualifications: - A qualified CA Work Experience: The ideal candidate should have 3-4 years of experience in service industry related to Indian tax and regulatory aspects. At-least 3 years- experience post qualification in the tax & regulatory consulting domain. Candidates with additional knowledge of finance and accounting will be preferred. This experience and skills will enable the candidate to handle our client's tax and regulatory consulting assignments.
