Deputy Manager - Procurement - Insurance (2-5 yrs)
Deputy Manager Procurement
Key Responsibilities :-
- Expertise in automation and end to end project management (initiation till Go live) (must to have)
- Capable to handle strategic projects
- Good hand holding on SIT result evaluation, test case preparation and UAT testing of every automation project
- Develop effective and sustainable Management Information System (MIS) with less human dependency
- Automation of existing processes / new dimension to existing work culture
- Identifying business needs and work towards exceeding Management expectations
- Strong and effective presentation skill
- Understand day to day business needs and quick data presentation
- Compliance and regulatory deliverables.
- Manage and maintain healthy relationship with Cross functional teams and external customers in order to increase satisfaction and improve interaction
- Responsible for Management data presentations & preparations, data analysis with RCA at short notice and able to handle conflicting situations
Primary Interactions:
- Internal & External stakeholders
- Nature of interaction includes- Spend analysis, Vendor Management, close interaction with Finance team for cross functional projects, Reference checks etc.
- Internal - Internal customers / business groups. Measure of Success:-
1. Deliver SLA compliance
2. Process Compliance
3. Timely closure of automation projects
4. Legal/Audit Compliance
5. Timely circulation dashboard
6. Process enhancement thereby increase in productivity
7. Making operating system more equipped and user friendly
Essential qualifications and experience:
Qualification: Graduate or Post graduate (Commerce stream recommended)
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years in Procurement function or similar domain
- Knowledge of Daksh application and Ariba (good to have)
- Knowledge of Insurance business and its operational activities
- Proficiency in Advance MS excel and Impactful presentations
- Good knowledge of PR, PO. Combid and contracting process
Knowledge and skills required :
1. Procurement domain system knowledge is preferred
2. Analytical and technical bent of mind
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Verbal & Written)
4. Good presentation skills, excel, and system knowledge
5. Strong process understanding and adherence to processes
6. Keen to collaborate with other teams for achievement of common goals
