Below please find job description for Deputy manager - Operations role at WeAreHolidays - One of India's fastest growing travel startup. It is a marketplace for customized vacation options for Indians traveling outside India. WeAreHolidays (WAH Holiday Private Limited), a 2011 company, was founded with the vision of creating the largest marketplace for vacation options for Indians.

Its founding team has extensive experience of working at MakeMyTrip, and includes Engineers (from IIT & other reputed institutes), Management graduates (from IIM & other reputed institutes) and numerous souls who- ve travelled the road less travelled on their entrepreneurial journey.

Since its launch, WeAreHolidays has been in numerous national publications and media outlets including the The Economic Times, CNBC Awaaz, Corporate Dossier, Your Story, Tnooz, Medianama and others. WeAreHolidays has thousands of customers and is growing at a phenomenal pace in India. WeAreHolidays is a venture-funded company with leading VC fund (Silicon Valley & India based) and prominent angel investors in India backing it.

The company has office in Gurgaon. WeAreHolidays is looking for young and bright individuals who could take on the role of Deputy Manager - Operations. The role would involve handling a team of operations executive and be responsible for overall customer experience post purchase as well as develop supplier relationships on an ongoing basis. Person would also be responsible for handling cases of customer dissatisfaction and giving a quick resolution.



Once a customer has made the purchase, operations team is responsible for handling customer queries and own customer delight till the time he completes his purchase. Beyond that operations team aligns with supplier group at destination to make sure customer has a great experience while traveling. Operations team is also responsible in taking decisions on which suppliers to work with for destinations. Following is the description of the job in detail -

1. Aligning with customer & creating a great post sales experience.

2. Make sure all deliverables (information, documents) are given to customer as per SLA

3. Working with suppliers on an ongoing basis and getting the most benefit in terms of rates/availability for the company.

4. Manage a team of executives who would be working on individual customer accounts.

5. Manage cases of customer dissatisfaction and provide timely solution.

Following are the skills required for the candidate -

1. MBA degree from Tier1/2 institute.

2. Customer orientation and an ability to delight customer through excellent service

3. Good communication skills.

4. Highly motivated and passionate individual

5. Friendly nature & startup fit
