POSITION DESCRIPTION  POSITION TITLE: Deputy Manager- Operational Risk Management  BUSINESS UNIT: Risk Management  REPORTING TO: Deputy General Manager - ERM  NO OF REPORTEES: Nil  LOCATION : Head Office  Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish)  - To play a supportive role in developing, implementing and managing Enterprise Risk  - To identify, assess and mitigate operational risks faced by the organization  - To prepare reports and dashboards  Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)  - Support in value chain analysis   - Support in enhancement of Risk & Control library  - Following for issue closure & updating iTrace  - KRI Testing- Half yearly/Quarterly/monthly KRI to be followed up and updated in the tracker  - Follow-up and managing the closure of Audit and Non-Audit Observations   - Interact with the business functions to collect data and manage the Key Risk Indicator testing process   - Support and participate in the ORM processes to achieve the targeted NFR rating  - Support in the development of the risk libraries for the entire Business Unit   - Development and updating branch control review checklist.   - Updating of ORM Manual and policies and procedures from time to time Participation in effective rollout / implementation of the Operational Risk policies within the organization   - Anything as may be assigned by Dy. General Manager - Risk Management.  Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position)  - Ability to adapt to any kind of environment  - MBA/PGDBM/PGDM/Insurance Risk specialization  - Strong verbal and written communication skills  - Strong analytical skills  - Strong understanding of risks and controls  - Strong Inter - personal skill  - Good understanding of audit techniques  Personal Attributes & Competencies  - Team Player with high level of zeal, able to complete assigned tasks independently and without constant supervision.  Performance Measures (The quantitative measures of the job's overall responsibility)  - Would be measured on TAT for processing requests & the quality of the same.  - Progress in enhancement of Value Chain Analysis, enhancement of Risk & Control Library and iTrace implementation  PERSON PROFILE (for the Ideal candidate)  Base Location Head Office  Age (Min to Max) 25- 30  Experience (Min to Max) 2-5  Specific Qualification Requirement, If any( Eg: CA, LLB) PGDBM/MBA (In finance) or Institute of Insurance & Risk Management, Hyderabad (Regular Courses)  Industry Preference (Insurance, Telecom, BFSI)   Life Insurance  Specific Skill Sets and  Weight age assigned to various  skill sets Working knowledge of Operational Risk Management in Life Insurance Industry  Position reports into Deputy General Manager  Direct Reports to the position Nil  % Travel Required in this   Position 15%  Any other specific requirements/ preferences Nil
