Deputy Manager/Manager - Treasury Risk Management - Manufacturing Firm

Job Description:

- Risk Management - monitor and report exposure of Metals (commodity) and forex, ensure trades are booked in adherence to risk management policy

- Manage the overall risk monitoring and reporting process for the trading desk

- Manage the overall commodity & forex exposure of the business by executing appropriate hedging strategy (spot and derivatives - LME OTC, futures, Spreads, currency and IR swaps etc.)

- Risk management - monitor and report net open position in Cu, Al and forex, ensure trades are booked as per the target for appropriate maturity with LME Brokers/ Supplier/Banks and in adherence to risk management policy.

- Track market movement and interaction with the LME brokers / banks.

- Monitor trader limits and report breaches, if any, as per risk management policy

- Create risk management reports capturing key performance metrics for management.

- Provide LME & forex rates sales and procurement department to be used for their references.

- Validate and confirm trades - share details with back office.

- Interaction and working closely with multiple internal stakeholders such as procurement, sales, treasury and accounts.

Job Profile:

- Min 4-5 years of Metals & forex trading experience in risk management division of Indian manufacturing organization.

- Proficiency in working on Reuters / Bloomberg terminal for tracking market trends, executing trades and analysis.

- Outstanding ability to distill insights and predict pricing trends from studying historical pricing patterns and global conditions.

- Strong technical and fundamental analysis skills using tools such as MS office, Oracle/SAP etc

- Deep domain knowledge of Commodity (nonferrous metals) and forex markets

- Well versed with regulatory and legal framework governing financial markets, products in India e.g., RBI guidelines for trading commodity and forex.

Educational background:

- Postgraduate: Full time MBA from reputed university / ICWA/ CA

- Certifications: Forex and Derivatives certification/ commodity hedging is a plus
