I have started STEPS after working in the industry for 16yrs in HR.. My last Organisation was CSC.. In the past worked with HCL, Nucleus S/w, NPI, DCM, Mitsui.

Dy.Manager/Manager -Legal for a very Large Indian IT MNC Location-Noida

Job Description :

Position : Dy.Manager/Manager -Legal

Location: Noida

Job Purpose :

- Legal Professional would be responsible for closing contracts and conducting negotiations in a high pressure business environment and working closely with various operating groups in sales, marketing, etc.

- As the company pursues newer business models and strategic initiatives in a technology-intensive areas, the Legal Professional would deal with cutting edge legal issues.

Areas of Work :

- Negotiate and close high value transactions in partnership with business;

- Drafting customer and vendor agreements, and all other kinds of agreements / MOUs

- Experience of vetting Govt. and PSU tenders;

- As a part of a world-wide legal team, work with and support ORGANISATION on local law issues;

- Understanding of legal issues on new business initiatives and models like cloud computing.

- Engage and work with outside counsels where necessary.

- Experience of litigation support, sending legal notices, preparing rejoinders, etc.

Skills :

- Outstanding legal, drafting, negotiation and commercial counseling skills; Excellent communication and inter personal skills;

- Excellent analytical, judgment and prioritization skills; Ability to work with senior management and corporate functions in a results-oriented, high-pressured environment; Ability to make timely decisions and identify risks and mitigation strategies; Exceptionally strong spirit of teaming.

Experience :

- Desired experience 6-12 years as an in-house Attorney preferably in an MNC doing corporate commercial legal work.

- Experience in ICT industry would be an added advantage.
