Deputy Manager/Manager - Decision Support - Postpaid Revenue

Key Purpose of the Job

Analyse movements in Postpaid revenue stream, understand the KPI trends and help the business to take corrective decisions. Prepare Postpaid revenue projection for weekly reporting, budgeting and Rolling Forecast. Also enable month closing for Postpaid segment.

Key Result Areas

- Projection of Postpaid revenue for Weekly reports, Rolling Forecast and Budget

- Reconcile the revenue with Accounts team and enable smooth month closing

- Support VBS/Enterprise team on KPI analysis and decision making

- Analyse the trend movements of various KPI's and alert the management of any variances

- Variance analysis of various revenue legs Vs LM and Budget

Key Functions & Responsibilities

Strategic (Responsibilities that help shape and influence function or sub function strategy)

Forecasting and Planning:

- Forecasting of Revenue and revenue related KPIs basis business insights

- Enable timing submission of Budget/Rolling Forecast/Weekly reports to corporate

- Tracking of Budget Vs Actual and come out with reasons for the variances.

- Forecasting and tracking consumer and Enterprise performance along with KPIs

- Ensure accurate forecasting of various KPIs and revenue line items.

Operational

- Monthly performance update of the circle Postpaid business

- Inputs for monthly circle ORM and Planning meet

- Tracking of daily KPIs and alerting any trend variances

- Sharing insights on KPI movements and help business to improve revenue

- Partner with all functions - Cross functional coordination for achieving the overall targets

- Deliver any Regional/corporate requirement with in timelines maintaining the accuracy

- Enable month end closing and reporting of Postpaid revenue

- Evaluating various business cases including Dongles

- Preparation of segment wise P&L

Developmental

People Management

- Keep Consumer and VBS team informed about the final DB nos, actual month on month performance and challenges/ variances

Authority

Custodian of all Postpaid KPI's and reported Postpaid revenues

Internal Relationships:

Functional Heads (Decision support, financial review, planning, Actual Vs DB)

Circle Business Head, S&M Head and Enterprise Head (Finalising DB & RF, Actual Vs DB)
