Deputy Manager - Investment Back Office

JOB SUMMARY:

- Manage end to end process of accounting and settlement of Derivatives

- Liase with banks for closing of ISDA/CSA agreements

- Reporting - Regulatory, Statutory, Internal, etc.

- Assist in back office operations pertaining to the investments in various funds (control and unit linked) - review of cashflow MIS

- Management of audits - statutory and concurrent

- Support conduct of meeting of Investment Committee of Board - preparation of agenda, deck, minutes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Financial reporting /Regulatory reports for hedge funds

- NAV computation for Unit linked funds

- Regulatory reporting - Preparation of Schedules, IRDA reporting, Shareholder reporting and Management reporting etc

- Managing Audits - Support to Concurrent Auditors and Statutory Auditors by providing timely data and ensuring successful completion of the same

- Good team player, Quick learner

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

- Accuracy of calculation and timely settlement of derivative transactions

- Timely submission of reports in line with regulatory and management requirements and continuous efforts to reduce time taken to make reports with enhanced controls

- Providing sufficient data to auditors and ensure that the audit is closed without pending issues

- Automation of reports

- Effective controls on data

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

- Chartered Accountant/ MBA

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

- 3-5 years of relevant post qualification experience in capital markets (Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting)

- Should have knowledge of Mutual fund, Insurance or Hedge fund industry

- Should have sound knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards especially 30-32 and IFRS

- Prior working experience in capital markets back office processes

- Insurance experience preferred especially in investment mid office / back office or CA with experience in book closure and preparation of financial statements
