Deputy Manager - Internal Audit - CA qualified. Bcom/BBA.


- Analyse previous audit report deficiencies; Understand root cause; Identify potential loopholes; Create the scope of Audit; Finalise with Head-Audit; Prepare Annual Audit Programme; Set up annual deployment schedule for the audit team; Suggest appropriate recommendations to Management in order to formulate long term audit strategies.

- Carry out independent audit of all treasury and Finance Functions; Analyse reasons or root cause of deviations; Recommend corrective actions.

- Safeguarding the Assets of the company

- Deploy audit Team as per annual programme; Obtain audit reports; Analyze and identify gaps in audit procedures; Guide audit team w.r.t to future approach; Guide the team in reconcilliations post audit; Conduct surprise checks at branches; Notify concerned HOD for systemic loopholes; Recommend measures to close such gaps; Appraise management of all such instances in order to safeguard assets of the company.

- Understand the analysis on potential risks for process reviews submitted by team; Identify ways to mitigate the risk; Escalate loopholes to management; Recommend corrective measures in order to reduce potential risk.

- Identifying key issues during the course of review,

- Analysis of impact on the business, prepare draft presentation,

- Review with HOD, update input provided by HOD,

- Obtain current status and feedback of auditee,

- Update necessary recommendation,

- Discuss draft issues with auditees before presentation to Senior Management,

- Prepare Minutes of the meeting and send to HOD for review and circulation."

- Undertake special assignments from Head-Audit ; Carry out investigations; Conduct fact finding study; Submit report to Management ; Recommend steps to plug potential loopholes in order to reduce instances of activities of fradulent nature.

- Draw up manpower plans for the year;Finalises plan with the Head Audit; Assist HR in recruitments; Recommend candidates for final selection; Set KRAs / KPIs; Review performance against targets; Provide on-going feedback; Recognise high performers; Implement EE improvement actions; Coach, guide and mentor the team in order to build and retain a high performing audit-team.
