Deputy Manager - Indirect Taxation - CA/ICWA/CS - Mfg/FMCG

Position Summary:

Managing overall indirect taxes compliance for company including, Excise, VAT, Service Tax, Customs, Entry Tax etc.

Ensuring timely filing of all returns.

Meeting Government authorities as and when required

Coordination with Pan India consultant base for VAT filling.

Issuance & collection of statutory forms like FORM C, F, E-I, E-II, A-1 and resolve related problems.

Experience in handling litigation matters like reply to SCN, preparation of appeals, assessments etc.

Identifying areas for process improvements to enhance quality and accuracy of tax operations, facilitating informed decision making and initiating actions to effect tax planning.

Provide regular updates and advise to the business regarding changes in tax laws

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

- Compliance with all indirect tax matters.

Desired characteristics:

- Good Knowledge of Excise and various state VAT

- Fluency in English and Kannada

- Good communication skill (both verbal and written)

Qualifications:

- CA/ ICWA/ CS with 4-6 years of Experience working in a factory cum corporate office environment.

- CA Inter/ ICWA Inter/ CS Inter with 8-10 years of Experience working in a factory cum corporate office environment.
