Deputy Manager - Indirect Taxation - Auto/FMCG/FMCD/Manufacturing

- To ensure timely and correctly computation and payment of GST on a monthly basis

- To ensure timely and correctly filing of all monthly/ quarterly/ half-yearly/ annually statutory returns.

- To avail Input Tax Credit timely and correctly

- Responsible for fulfilling all legal requirement/ formalities for smooth running of day to day Functions

- Update latest development & changes in Govt Policies, Foreign Trade Policy, rules & regulations related to Job profile & its sharing with appropriate authorities/ departments.

- To ensure maintenance of all statutory records prescribed under Goods and Service Tax Act

- To ensure hurdle free implementation and smooth running of SAP system in Goods & Service Tax Act

- Skilled in Classification, Valuation, Returns & Assessments, Statutory Excise & Service Tax Audits, Inspections, Special Verifications etc., Refunds, Import & Export Procedures, Bonds, Permissions, Duty DrawBack, EOU and MSIP.

- Leading the team in front to ensure proper response to statutory authorities and response to all show cause notice, Appeal, and attending personal hearing

- Tracking and reconciliation of E way bill road permits

- Filing of Excise & Service Tax refunds, follow up and get verification at department.

- Analysis & Interpretation of Provisions under the Central Excise Act & Rules framed there under, Customs Act & Rules there under, Cenvat Credit Rules, Service Tax Statute and other allied laws, settling reply to SCN- s, settling appeals and handling litigations.

- Procedural compliance with Indirect tax laws such as filing of periodical returns, replies, appearance before the authorities.

- Preparation for Old VAT assessments and litigation proceeding with tax authorities.

- Liasioning Govt. Deptts. At all levels, Customs at Ports, Liasioning with Excise, Service Tax & Customs consultants & VAT Consultants at all Branch Locations, Filing Appeals & Writ Petitions
